From the moment an orphaned, abandoned, or at-risk child steps onto ministry property, they become family! We love them, feed and shelter them; we educate them from infancy through Bible College. Once they become Pioneer Missionaries they still return home each year to attend the Pastors Conference where they are again fed, loved, encouraged and given more education. Many are reunited with friends from their orphanage days. Most are married and have families of their own when they return. This is always a time of joyful, tearful reunions! From birth to death – we remain family!
"And thou shalt teach them [the Word of God] diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up" – Deuteronomy 6:7
The Bible teaches us to give away what we have freely received. Following the example set by our heavenly Father, Hopegivers continues to rescue and raise thousands of orphaned, abandoned and at-risk children every year who will eventually go out into the world and rescue and raise more children who eventually go out and rescue and raise even more children…This approach to ministry will continue until Jesus returns. We have been commissioned to "pass it on" – clearly a reflection of God's heart.
Our pastors and staff invest their love, time and energy daily into every child. You, my friend, are the needed encouragement that keeps us keeping on. We are so few compared to the many that need our help. Your prayers and your financial support are a constant reminder to each of us that we must look up to where our help comes from (Matthew 14:19).
Scripture tells us to either "Go!" or "Send!" We have been "going" since 1960 and because of friends like you who have been "sending" support and praying for us we continue to equip thousands who boldly go out and share the truth about eternal life in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 15-19). With over 49,000 churches established so far, clearly God's Word does not come back void!
Thank you for everything you have already done; thank you for all that you will do in the future. Dad's God-given vision of One Million Arrows for Christ can only be realized with God's grace and your partnership.
